What happens after you send your CV
Six steps from your CV arriving to your first day on site, with documentation and travel arranged for you.
- Six steps, one route
- Documentation prepared for you
- Support after arrival
The six steps, from your side
The sequence is the same for every sector and destination. What changes is the paperwork each country asks for.
-
You send your CV
One CV covers every sector and destination, so you do not apply to roles one at a time.
-
You are matched
Your CV is compared against live employer briefs — sector, role, destination country and start date.
-
You are screened
Your experience, certificates and language level are checked before you are put forward, so an employer only ever sees candidates who fit the brief.
-
Your documents are prepared
Your contract and the paperwork the destination country requires are prepared for you rather than left to you to arrange.
-
You travel
Travel is coordinated around the employer’s start date, and your arrival on site is arranged with them.
-
You are supported
Support continues once you have started work — it does not stop at the airport.
What we ask of you
Four things that keep a placement moving once your CV is with an employer.
-
Accurate information
Experience and language levels as they actually are — both are verified at screening.
-
Realistic availability
Dates you could genuinely travel and start work on.
-
Valid documents
A current passport, and any certificate or licence your trade requires.
-
Stay reachable
Answer messages while your CV is in front of an employer.
Questions about the process
How long does the process take?
It depends on the brief you are matched to. Agriculture and hospitality roles are planned around peak season, while construction, manufacturing, logistics, cleaning and healthcare support recruit through the year.
Will I be interviewed by the employer?
Screening happens before you are put forward. Where an employer also interviews, the Interview Tips page sets out how that usually runs.
Do I arrange my own visa and contract?
No. Your contract and the documentation the destination country requires are prepared as part of the placement.
Can I be considered for more than one role at a time?
Yes. Your CV stays on file and is matched against briefs as they arrive.
What happens if a placement does not work out?
Support covers both the worker and the employer after arrival, and your CV can be matched against later briefs.
