Candidate questions, answered

How to apply for seasonal and skilled work in Europe, what happens to your CV once it arrives, and which sectors, countries and languages MenaWorkforce covers.

Applying

How do I apply for a role?

Through the Submit Your CV page. There is no separate application per vacancy — one upload puts you in front of the briefs you match, and the page itself explains what the file needs to contain.

Do I need to apply separately for each country?

No. One CV covers all eight destination countries.

In which language should I send my CV?

Any of the five languages we support: English, French, Italian, Spanish or Arabic.

Can I apply without formal certificates?

Yes, except where the role itself requires a certificate or licence. Otherwise it is your work history that is assessed.

What happens next

What happens after I send my CV?

It is matched against live employer briefs, then screened, before you are put forward to an employer.

Will I be interviewed?

Screening always happens before you are put forward. Some employers also interview, and the Interview Tips page sets out how that usually runs.

Who prepares my contract and paperwork?

Your contract and the documentation the destination country requires are prepared as part of the placement, not left to you.

Is there any support after I arrive?

Yes. Support continues for both the worker and the employer once a placement has begun.

Sectors, countries and languages

Which sectors are hiring?

Construction, agriculture, hospitality, manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, cleaning services, and healthcare support.

Which countries can I work in?

France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Malta and Ireland.

Is the work seasonal or year-round?

Both. Agriculture and hospitality hire around peak season, while construction, manufacturing, logistics, cleaning and healthcare support recruit through the year.

Which languages can I be supported in?

English, French, Italian, Spanish and Arabic, at every stage of the process.

Still have a question?

Ask it directly. Questions about pay, accommodation and contract length are answered for your specific placement rather than in general.
